very nice there derf... you're reminding me of that woman in Balmora with the pillow obsession
managed to acquire another ton of enchanted things today, plus half a set of ebony armour and level 13 on my character. stupid addictive game.
spent hours earlier running round looking for a cave near Gnaar Mok... when I finally found it, turned out I'd run right next to it already so that it was even on the local map... i hate doing that.

lol.....this almost makes me want to play it again.
so, anyway....the journal thing...bloodmoon expansion fixes it. I believe it is sortable by completed/uncompleted. Not so sure about sorting by location or whatnot, though that's a damned good idea.
As for mournhold...expansion? What expansion? It sounds mildly familiar, but it's been so long. What's sad is I haven't played this game in years, but I still remember all these things you guys are talking about. Vivec, the hidden shrines, where to get Azura's star, the guy north of Suran....heheh. Obviously this game had a major impact on me.

Well, I have tribunal and bloodmoon on the Xbox GotY edition, and it still sucks. Do you have to wait till you get to the part that involves blood moon or something?

Thankks pev. Ive aquired some even better armour yesterday, some "Her Hand" gauntlets, pauldrons and boots. I am now a tank. Oh and ive killed Gaenor. Hate that bastard.
Mournhold is a city sepertate to Vvardenfell which is added by one of the expansions. Cant remember which one.
As for the Journal fixes by Bloodmoon, the quests now get removed when completed and there is an index feature which lets you see all the journal entries, names, places in alphabetical order. So say, you need to find info on some guy called Orvas Dren, all you do is click on "O" and find an entry on him. That is of course, if youve actually talked to someone about him.
Mind you the Journal is still a pain in the ass.

How much expansions there are? I'll get Tribunal this evening but I'm not sure if it will work when I install it over one basic Morrowind installation. Will it? If yes, then it is worth of one more round. *gg*

Instead of buying the expansions seperatly, first find out the price of the GotY eddition. Especially a second hand one, but you'll probably be able to get that cheaper than buying the two seperate expansions. Maybe even trade in your original morrowind to get further discount.
GotY - Game of the Year. It comes with both of the Morrowind expansions (Tribunal and Bloodmoon)

i've only ever had GOTY edition with the expansions, and the journal still sucks I don't like it because say I get three quests at a time, I have to scroll through about 15 entries because there's rarely one entry only for a quest. Or say I have one quest, then another, then do something for the first, it doesn't add in under the opening entry for that one. it comes up after the second. I know of the 'options' thing by letter but thats just as gay try debt money, its used for 2 of the fighters guild quests so unless you happen to be doing it right away you'd forget which entry is actually relevant. but it is ok if you do the quests as you get them.
Tribunal adds Mournhold, Bloodmoon adds Solstheim. anyhoo we had a huge morrowind session yesterday... say hello to level 15 and 41k gold

oh, I've played Tribunal, so I've probabyl done Mournhold. Never played bloodmoon though. The graphics just....aren't....good enough anymore. I can't force myself to play it.
Might be why I hate WoW so much.

Well, I'd still advise you to play it regardless of that...Bloodmoon is graphically speaking a good bit better than Tribunal & Morrowind, plus it has a vibe of its own. And it's not as 'crappy' (relativily) as Tribunal. Bloodmoon rocks the big 111 etc.
But I can understand how you feel, with all these cool games coming out and monster machine. Me, I don't mind playing classic games with lousy graphics (eg Alpha Centauri) as long as they're fun. But bleh.
Gaenor wasn't easy...I considered myself pretty badass and almost got killed by that little git.

Ald' Rhun is/was my hometown...Rhedoran town, plus my stronghold was rather near to it.

Lol, I love the screenshots of this game, the remind me of Sonic R. (Sonic R was one of the first, if not THE first, to incoorporate the "fade in" of distant scenery, but sonic R did it a little better, because you didn't see it "build" the further parts of the building)

lol cool screenies. I usually have my home town in Balmora... coz i rarely get very far with my characters so I go kill Dura-gra Bol or whatever her name is (she's a bounty for fighters guild anyway later on in the quests so whether you join that or not it doesn't matter if she's dead). It's the building 'next' to the Corner Club and by the river, has about 4 stories with a few crates and sacks on the top floor to store things in. But this char is nearly leader of the Fighters guild so I'll soon be getting my first stronghold. yay!
