I dont think there has ever been a "fight sim".

Let's not forget the ultimate card that the pc holds over the consoles: modding. Tons of pc games get enhanced, altered and reworked by fans, something that is hardly the case with consoles. When i finished morrowind, I played it again later on with tons of third party mods installed. The game was very different...consoles almost always the same experience.

RTS's the only one i really remember playing is CnC, but when i think of more, i'll let you know. I supose LAPD somethingynumber was RTS, that rocks, PS, and some future war game 2010 rocked too.

TBS: The only one i really played is BG and i played in in "real time" mode

Fight sims: There's many, Ask pevil for the name of one on the Xbox currently, i can't remember it's name, I haven;t played it though. I just put fighting games under sims cuz you didn't provided me with a fighting game genre!

I'm not saying consoles or PC's are better, they are just better in differen't aspectes

Amazing, Halo might have been good on xbox becuase there was no other good shooter, on PC it sucked, tons of games that had done it better in every aspect. and bla bla about graphics, nobody cares about graphics in MP. The shittier the reso, the better visibility, the easier to hit, the less colorful mumbojumbo the better playability, so basically forget Halo, its just one exception.

Imo crap like Need for speed and some beat em ups, crap like tekken, are really played best on consoles but everything else has been done and done better on pc.

Xbox live - yes mole has had more fun on it BUT none of the live games have kept you as occupied as UO or potentially Guild Wars

I'm assuming Mole means things like Fight Club, Fight Night Round 2, Def Jam etc as Fight sims. Or perhaps Street Fighter. *shrugs*

I find generally that the Xbox games i'd like are the ones that are pick up and play. Like Sonic Mega Collection, much better to spend a half hour on Sonic on the Xbox than on PC. But any in-depth game is 300000000x better on the PC. More freedom, easier to get around menus/distribute stat points, usually better graphics and bigger worlds... unless your pc sucks of course...

hmm... mole dear if your new Xbox 360 ever looks like it was opened up, runs slower than the Xbox and my PC suddenly gets a lot faster, it was a coincidence. Honestly.

Lol, no dear, my 3 cpu's. Anyway, that game was some martial arts one, where you have to learn the different tracks of styles etc. Like Shenmue, excpet about the fighting.

Ooh, Shenmue, one of the best ever games I have played and that was on the DC.

Action RPG's I refer to are more like Jade Empire, Kingdom Under Fire etc.

Also, on a console, I feel it test's my reflexes more than a PC. The control pad puts me that bit nearer to being "in" the game than it puts me useing a keybaord mouse combo. Hense, why I'm playing the TR series again using a Playstation pad adapter for my PC.

I can move faster, and with more precision using a pad than with a keyboard. Except, as you say, in the case of FPS. Which leads me back to halo *sigh*

Halo on PC = Not fun.

I love SC for its awesome MP graphics, the stealth of the spy, the shadows on the wall, and for what little I played of the shamefully disapointing sequel to halo, I love the good graphics in MP. (Unfortunatly, they were much again a let down compared to story line halo 2, unlike SC, which although it's not AS good, it's damned near)

Yeah, NFSU is crap, and so is tekken, like... the second tekken was good thats about it. But Street Fighter rocks, and so did DOA.

Seems they're going for more of a "fun" build, not so much the power, but of course, it's early days yet.

Blue Ray is the concept of normal CD (or DVD), but with a blue laser instead of a red one, so more data can be written per square mm.

Coming back to mp fps games and graphics.

While you are admiring the scenery and beatiful colors and wondering if someone is hiding in some shadow somewhere, me with my shity reso, tuned down graphics can easily see twice the range and into any corner and so on.

Its been so in every fps game, starting from the first quake to this day.

So if you want to own ppl, you got to give up some, i tried wolf on 1600x1xxx something and i literally couldnt see sh*t. Now i play it on 800x600 reso and low graphs i can see well, others tho can see better since they use a cfg file that overlights the map, so no camping in shodows there. Basically they can see if you got something stuck in yer teeth .

meaning? as in they're gonna do their own version of live, or stick to what they already have (i.e. normal internet)
