 Large scale networking.
Is it possible to use any 802.3 medium as a link between two 10baseT networks? If so, what kinda device is needed at the connections?
*damn fine chinese looking girl walks into room*

yes.
The thing is, your question doesn't make sense.
10baseT ethernet IS 802.3. Can you link two ethernet network using ethernet? Sure. You can directly link them with a router, or you can link them with two routers and a transport network between the two. In either case you'll need at least one router. Unless you're willing to renumber one of the networks and place them both in the same subnet, in which case you could get away with a layer 2 connection, ie hub/switch/bridge kind of deal.
If you can give more information I could be more helpful.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that there may have been conditions regarding linking differnet 802.3 media together. In this case, i thought issue would arise when linking 10baseT, to say 10base5.

ah, ok. I'm following now. Still ethernet, but a different physical media or something of that nature.
Still doable, but you'd need to find either a bridge or router that support both ethernet types. It can then translate back and forth between the two.
That's seems kinda odd though....why 10base5 or even 10baseT? Why not upgrade verything to 100baseT and be done with it? The hardware is cheap as hell now.

Im doing a small paper on it. As a result, my references are bit out of date, but it doesnt matter too much at this point.
