Can you get a screen from the Tremere shack BJ? I've never seen it, but i imagine it's nice. Even if it's half as nice as Max' place it's still cool. The Nosferatu one was in the sewers, but no tv reception. It's a very rommy place tho.

EDIT: god dammit, the ming xiao fight is to damn hard, if you don't have a bucket full of blood then you're fucked. its hard enough without the little mini bastards wacking you as well i only had ONE blood bag with me.

hehe, come on BJ, it's doable...if you have a ranged weapon of some sort. It might be much harder as a tremere tho, never played as one. Btw, you do know that you can drink blood from every of the Kue-jin up until Ming Xiao herself, right? Cos you normally speaking shouldn't need blood packs during the mission, just feed off the bastards...they're quite, uhm, full too. Please see it through, I'd love to see your reaction to the ending.

As for cash...it's a little unbalanced: if you're using a melee, sneak or unarmed character you swim in cash. My nosferatu brawler/sneaker had over 7000$ near the end of the game...and my Toreador gun-wielder was broke and in the end had barely enough ammo to last through the endfight.

So its: melee+unarmed= cheap, ranged+blood magic=expensive.

Maybe put up your unarmed a few ranks if you can, will improve your bloodsucking.

i mean you need blood for the boss fight, i start it full health and blood, using guns, you have to keep moving because of the cramped spaces and the damn tentacles have a LONG reach, if i had a couple of extra blood packs it'd be doable. bad choices i guess. the game surprised me by supplying so much ammo late on, brought a flamethrower and everything..

i'll do it sooner or later, just that the only save game before where i am is griffith park. *shudder*

Anyway, I hope you manage to beat it...there's some fun stuff ahead; and the Lacroix must die! quest is less extensive than the Ming must die! one. It's also a paradise for sneak specialists, but my bet is that that don't interest you much, hehe. Blood boil>sneak.

man, griffith park was right up there with that bit in far cry, at the top of the waterfall for pure scary..

screwed up big time, started a new game (brujah) thinking i'd re-play the covo part later to spend the money a bit more wisely, yep, save games now gone. very stupid. still, now a brawler type and i'm rolling in cash already. wont take me long to get back to where i was, i'll post again in here when i finish it.

Haha, if you want a crazy outfit go Malkavian...they wear disco clothes, cheerleader/cowgirl outfits, etc. They're crazy, after all.

Sucks about your savegames, but you'll be going through the game pretty fast as a Brujah...potence+ celerity+unarmed= madness. It's also really cool to smack ppl 10 feet away with glowing fists. hehe

Dammit my game crashes after the fight with Bach when i get on the boat.

It does that for most people in the pre-patch version, you'll be allright once you patch it.

I bought this game over the weekend (well, Shiny did). I won't probably play it for awhile, but just thought I'd say I had it.
