lol..I could have figured. Just finished the game for the second time, as a Nosferatu with a different allegiance. Fun stuff. Even if the outcome was...less than pleasant. Anyhoo, where you at?

bad i know but i started a new game as a tremere (sp?), and they seem to be a bit more versatile. with the dominate power you can make people just forget about you for 5 secs, seems invaluble if you get spotted while sneaking. also got the power to make people vomit blood, very useful. hehe

I finished it a few days ago with a Toreador... liked the game, though the eyes of the models were kind of odd. Ocean Hotel freaked me out, especially the newspaper in the laundry room. Was kind of disappointed about the ending though: the last boss was easier than some others and after all the excitement about that certain object I expected a bigger ending (and speaking of bosses, was a bit surprised when I saw one of the characters was called Brother Kanker and that he was spreading a disease). Thought the 'basketball game' at the murder scene in Downtown LA was some good fun (and a bit sick) Going to replay it as a Malkavian I think, heard some positive reactions about their conversations... that's all I can think of now...
Oh, and one question Rinox: I was curious how the people in certain areas react when they see a Nosferatu, such as the guy in the Sin Bin or the Red Spot?

Hehe, nice that you played it too. Toreador seems to be a popular starting clan here. (me, you, BJ) As for the nosferatu...lol. The guy in the sin bin actually doesn't respond at all. I guess he's seen enough sick shit in his life. In the guy in the red sport started freaking out tho, asking me if it was some sort of weird skin disease or something, forgot exactly what it was. One thing's for sure, I laughed my ass off with some reactions. The old lady in the diner dropping dead, for one. Or a girl in a bar in chinatown, upon seeing me she says: "I think i'm gonna puke", reply: "I'll hold up your hair". You get a lot of that, with the disco-girls meant for feeding. I posted some pics in the previous pages, among others of ppl reacting to my nosf, check them out.
Malkavians are, according to a mate, very freaky. And I actually liked the ending, but i'll wait to talk about that until BJ finished the game too. Superb game, in any case. And obfuscate ROCKS.
(and Oceanview Hotel scared the crap outta me, too. Even the second time through wasn't nice )

just got to hollywood, which is further than i got before. got through the museum (duh..) but had to waste a few humans, although they did attack me first it was a case of charging through like a bull in a china shop, only killing when i had to and basically didn't use much finesse at all if anyone sneaked that level with a non-nosferatu then i'd be amazed.
got my ghoul..which is nice..like the way you can tel her to change her image.
the further you play the game the need for a well balanced vampire becomes clear, you really do need some firearms skill, melee skill, be able to seduce, intimadate, etc. was saving points for the high bllod magic (BOOM!! hehe) but had to spend the lot on skills.
oh, and the parking lot job for the fat bloke can be tough if you dont seperate them..

getting VERY pissed off with this game at the moment, that bit where you have to flood the tunnels and swim through is making me wanna rip someones head off, its just far to hard. 12 attempts, get right to the end of the junction and i just get stuck. i cant go any further. and i dont have celerity.

Mm Bj, it shouldn't be too hard. I did it with a char with celerity (Toreador) and one without (Nosferatu). Was easy with the first, and succeeded in 2-3 tries with the other one. Just flip the switch, run towards the wall on the iron bridge-thing, jump over its board and into the water and start swimming...if you get stuck near the T-cross of the pumps but are already in the right pipe try to duck-jump forwards and sideways. I got stuck there twice: once completely, and once when i managed to get free like that and go on.
You probably have tried all of the above already; but i thought I'd give you all the help I could. Anyway, you'll love the Nosferatu warrens. Awesome design and atmosphere. But, as a tremere you'll probably be in for some hard fights in the sewers, with the blood magic and all. Can Tremere feed on rats? or are that the Ventrue who can't?

Just for your information, blood strike works wonders on some of the monsters. those big 6 legged mothers go down quick with it, shotgun does an ok job also
