Nice screenies, how customisable is the character?

There's 7 different clans with different sets of abilities and disciplines, so that's already a wide choice. I don't think there's THAT much difference between most clans but it takes a differnt playing style nonetheless. (a mate of mine was a Brujah, fighter-types...his game was very different from mine )

So: it's ok...not Arcanum (if you ever played it), but good enough. The atmosphere is great, altho the loading screens do tend to suck.

I just finished a part that freaked me out...basically, a haunted mansion. It's very well done...voices, faint images, old newspapers with reports on what happened, lightbulbs popping and paintings flying off the wall unto your face...and lots of other stuff being tossed around. Great stuff, but I shouldn't be playing this at 3AM with headphones on. hehe. Good thing that one of my clan disciplines is Auspex; it shows ppl's aura's (through walls and doors and everyhting) and heightens perception for a short time. Helps for judging situations before busting in guns blazing. (yes, I mainly specialize in firearms cos I'm as weak as a kitten ) I might be a kick-ass vamp but I still checked every corner twice in there. hehe

Other than that still great atmosphere, tuned down the graphics quite a bit to improve load times, but it still looks very good. Investing in conversational and hacking/research skills. 'Hacking' is nicely implemented in the game and can give you some serious advantages. Anyway, here's some pics from the haunted place. Can be a bit dark, soz

I'll try to Peltz, but remember I'm not much of a combat character. I can stand my ground in hand-to-hand and am pretty good at ranged combat, but other than that 1337 suckage. Hand-to-hand also determines your ability to feed on an unwilling char, like in combat. You wouldn't believe what situations I survived by hopping from one enemy on the other feeding. I had to take something from a museum and got detected, so I had tons of security guards take shots at me...and I mean like 5-10 at a time. Good thing is that their .37 bullets didn't do terrible damage (go vampire bodies ), so I just leeched from one of them everytime I got in health-problems. Feeding in combat is cool.

And ranged-wise: shotgun all the way baby. Does uberdamage against vamps, with weak flesh and all. You'll have noticed i'm often carrying a shotgun in the screens.

BJ: so far I can recommend it, really cool game and very RPG-ish. It has some backdraws but I'll crap about them later.

Sorry Peltz, no combat shots yet. Since I'm such a weak bastardo I have more than enough trouble staying alive, let alone able to make decent screens in the meantime. So you'll just have to do with these for now.
