For ages people have been saying: "you'll never fill that space up", but time and time again, people needed more storage.
Digital tv is coming... what if you want to store your favourite tv series on your computer? You wouldn't have to buy an expensive DVD collection and you have it as soon as it's been broadcasted.

Yea, it shouldn't be too long till 1TB. Hell, a compressed DVD is 8GB. (well, mpeg2 compressed). Uncompress that and it's, what, 40+GB? When you're talking about only 15 movies, 1TB isn't so outrageous.
