Guardian, of course. I can safely say that I am pretty much unmatched in melee. I specialized in just about every aspect of melee: dual-wield, blocking blaster fire, all the light saber feats, toughness master, etc.

Of course, i can't hit an elephant from a foot away with a ranged weapon, but hey. :p Not to mention my 1337 suckage in everything technical. I met Malak on the big ship, and I completely overmatched him, without preparation or force. I'm stocking tons of hyperstimulants of all kinds, but I doubt i'll ever need them.

And OMFG @ Revan I mean, I knew those jedi bastards were keeping something from me, but THIS?! haha, what a great twist of events. I was totally stunned, great stuff. Btw BJ, in your experience, what's the difference between dark and light side, more or less? I have the idea that the dark side chars are better at fighting, and light side better alround? Like, more dangerous. (dark, that is)

Btw, anyone know this: on the character screen there's two slidebars next to your paper doll: the light/dark one to the left, and another one to the right. It has some sort of red symbol on it, but I don't know wtf it means.

aye, the revan revelation. thought you'd enjoy it. i can honestly say that kotor has one of the best plots i've ever seen in a game.

RE dark vs light..to be honest not a lot of difference, you just tend to have a lot more money as a dark sider since you get big light points for giving to the needy, etc (yawn..)

the symol on the right side probably means you are a badass and achieved dark side mastery. this gives the following bonus relevant to the class you have:

Light side:
Guardian: +3 str
Sentinel: +3 con
Consular: +3 cha

Dark side:
Guardian: +1d8 damage
Sentinel: Immunity to Poison
Consular: +50 force points

so as you can see, you gained +1d8 damage.

imho, the lightsiders are generally better as guardians, but the darksider whoop ass as consulars, due to better offensive powers and the +50 points, blah..i always go withat least 14 in both wis and chr as both these will give you extra force points. a ds guardian with those stats pretty much ownz. high fighting ability, strong force powers. plenty of equipment to raise your strength to.

oh, and i hope you romanced bastilla..

Charisma raises force points too? Cool! I got 15-16 charisma...I am a charismatic evil guy, aye? The coolest kind. I LOVE force persuade. "You want to kill him.." w00t I cleared the hunter's lodge in Tatooine just by threatening ppl and dominating them.

I didn't romance Bastila, I think. lol. I always was going on like "You know you want me...don't you?! " etc. I hope that qualifies...off to play it some more now

Ok...so, I went and played from the temple to past Malak's three dark jedi guards (who were wuss). So I still have to beat Malak himself, but things are looking up.

I trooped up with my homie Bastilla I killed the old fool Jolee, who was not being very cooperative. Then I went back to the ebon hawk, where damn wuss0r Carth ran off. I was gonna kill Mission cos she was taking too long to decide, and then that treacherous wookie scumbag went berserk on me. Of course, I killed both of the fools. So i was left with Bastilla, Canderous and my two faitful droids. (didn't I tell you that those were about the only ones I trust? and maybe Canderous, he's got this strange honor code thing going on, and is pretty cool)

I tricked the republic fleet, using them as a cover...now I have penetrated deep into the inside of the star forge and am close to taking care of Malak (the jawless ). Guess that will be for tomorrow though...even Darth Rinox has to sleep some time i'm curious how things work out...Carth is bound to make another appearance, and I don't trust Bastilla one bit. With a bit of luck I get to kill everyone, hehe. This game rules!

I already started a new game where I will play light side, with a charactar totally opposite of mine: a female char, weak as a kitten but very intelligent, charismatic, wise and dexterous. Who's good at computers, security and whatnot.That should make for a very different gameplay. I will now try to romance then...a quick look for romanceable NPC's immedeately made me realize which NPC "square" never got filled: that of that Juhani girl. I made her fight me to the death when I found her at the temple, lol. Never knew she was an NPC.

Praise the lord for Bioware, I say!! let's hope Obsidian don't mess things up in the sequel though...

I don't have many screenshots left, i'm afraid. I have this one of me and Malak kicking ass..but I had another one of me, the Dark Lord, looking over my cheering Sith troops, grinning evilly. But somehow it got fux0red. maybe I'll reload that and try again, we'll see.

I think i'm gonna be taking this slow though...like, playing it when I'm a bit bored, cos I don't look forward to playing everything over again immedeately. But I surely will...and then we got HL2 coming up, and Sims 2 seems to be good. Gaming rocks.
