Well Mole was trying to tell us that if time stopped you'd still be able to move around, because time didn't actually exist and we made it up. But now he says the passing of moments to moment does exist, which is exactly what time is. So he's contradicted himself, and ruined his argument...

Hm i think he actually meant: SUPPOSE that we would still be able to move around .. but that's of course very difficult to imagine. It's like saying "suppose that gravity didn't exist on earth" or something.

Or maybe he just changed his mind.
Heres funny thought, supposeing that time stopped in a way that we COULD move and air WOULD move to let us walk and stuff, then imagine if it had rained? You'd be utterly screwd!

Nope, it definatly is also supposed to slow blood, in the way that i think derf mentioned. I think its one of those crazy Feng Shui things. Anyway.
I'm not saying it in the way that i mean it, It's all down to what i've already said, in that that is the way we understand it. I can't explain it any other way, because i don't know how. I don't know if one moment really is passing from one to the next. Or if everything that seems forwards to me, is backwards. It just "feels" like it. And we didn't invent that "feeling" it was just there.

Couldn't be arsed reading the rest of the topic but i just wanted to clarify this, if anything green clothes WILL show the blood (which is i think what mole meant, dunno) because of basic colour theories, ie that red and green are 'opposite' colours so when together green appears MORE green, and red appears MORE red. Same with blue/orange and yellow/purple.

Hehe good one.
Dunno about the UV though, apart from not being in the visible range of (normal) humans, it's the same story as the other visible colours: wavelength is determined between x and y nm, so it should be the same for everyone.

There is nothing special about UV light at all, white things appear purple under UV cause UV is at the blue end of the spectrum, same as why hot things glow red. It's not special in the slightest, therefore no need to talk about UV light...that's why Derf. If you want to learn go read a book save me wsting my time

lol, either way dude, you still took the time to post that! hehe. I think UV light is cool. Don't care if it's not special. I had a pair of trainers once that were all blue with white and yellow on them (They were awesome) but under UV light, they looked so much better. Me and my mates wanted to go out and invent them in that colour some how, but by the end of the day we'd forgotten about it.
