1) IIRC curing the old guy has to do with the dungeon beneath the village. If you don't know how to activate it, have a look at the dragon statuettes on the town square.
2) You get to the 2nd pyramid by using the first lol. When you get to the 2nd (get ready for a fight) there'll be a way of teleporting you and the the pyramid back to the first, so you can make full use of them. Those pyramids own. I suggest you put one pyramid next to the bed under the healer's cabin, so you can literlaly teleport yourself into bed.

Hehe, it is, isn't it? Great music, good gfx and a very, very user-friendly skill system. It's really neat that you can become just about anything you like, regardless of your base class. A lockpicking mage swinging a broadaxe, or a spell-slinging barbarian with a knack for shopping deals, it's all possible. And then i haven't even started on the funny stuff in there.
Did you guys (Pev and Derf) found the story about the 2 brothers, the shopkeeper and the sword that makes invincible? cracked me up. It's somewhere at the start of the game.

Nope, and the story about the brothers etc. was in the dungeon beneath the healer's village btw, so you missed it.

lol haven't played it in ages. annoyed me coz i got into the castle etc, got taken to that dungeon blah blah blah WAAAAY too early (only about level 17) so got smashed, and the only alternative save i had was back when i was about level 9. so that bugged me for ages, didn't play it, then the other day i was all in the mood to play it, and found that i'd completely lost the knack of actually killing stuff, plus being back all pathetic at level 9 was just annoying, so to it for now lol.

awww, i feel for you Pev. Do you reccommend any words of warning for the Castle then? Cos i read a bit of a walkthorugh which said "do not enter the castle until you are atleast level 20" or summin.

well basically i'd say find and complete as many quests as you can before you go in. coz i was like you, had hundreds of quests to do, mainly "deliver a bill to farmer bob" kind of things, and i just wanted to explore, so any quests you have, make sure you've done them if possible before going in. and also make a back up save just before you go to the castle, so if it turns out too hard you dont have to jump back too far :S

Yeh man, those drummers "were" a right old handful! i couldnt figure out how to kill them because they just kept regenerating and hitting me hard. But when i got to about level 20 they were piss easy, i would just kill them in about 3 strokes.
I tell you what, those Elite Orc Chiefs were a handful aswell, but right now i am pretty much invincible.

Lol the thing with this game is that when you think you are pretty far in the game its quite possible you just passed the 25% marker
