I find the options for an evil party very limited in BGII, I always end up with those NPC's

That's a nice party, but it's more the way you use your NPC's, rather than how strong they are on themselves that makes a great BG2-player. :)

Btw, if you're interested in some bonehard challenges after you finished this game of BG2 just post here and i'll hook you up with some fancy ridiculously difficukt fights.

Watch out!! Before you know it you're doing a re-install because of his wacko-mods!! :?

They're fun actually, but kinda difficult :)

I often tend to use Hear'Dalis rather than Jan, but it's personal opinon. Infact most times i don't have either of them...

Yeah I would recommend Haer as well. He has some decent swords and it's easier to get some good armour on him, Jan is limiting because of his. Haer also has a high lore ability saving you time on the id spell

Your trip through the underdark is going to look like a picnic i think.

Switching jan for haer isn't a serieus option i think, like hordfactor says, he needs the thieving skills, dunno for sure but i think jan is better with magic compared to the bard, and he doesn't need haer at all in the frontline, since he has 2 berserkers and viconia.

Btw did you get that medium shield that gives you extra (about 20% i think) magic protection? It's great for viconia. Either you get it from Madulf or in the Unseeing eye quest, think the first. Memory not so good anymore

Another thing i'm not sure about: if you would have dualwield korgan with some axe or warhammer AND the Crom Fayer of course and give yourself a shield and the celestial fury for example, you could have been stronger in the end. Not sure though. And I'm really nitpicking now :P

You don't necessary need Jan though, once u get Imoen she's pretty good and using items you can beat her up. We are just nitpicking though
