I usually get Keldorn before that, complete his quest so he goes home then look for others, I would say though that paladins probably would look over lesser evil for greater (shadow thieves vs bodhi)

heh...well, I'm playing good, but I just killed Valygar and carried his body. There's no rep loss... after all, he is unlawful. But yes, I shouldn't do that if I were really role-playing. (sigh) I'm tired of being good. I wish I wouldn't lose all my powers if my rep went real low.

Did any of your partymembers complain about it? I can imagine aerie is shocked by that senseless act of violence. Might be interesting to know since i might kill him too if it doesn`t upset anyone (besides valygar of course).

Just ignore the consequences and become a fallen ranger man, even if you lose your powers it's role-playingwise extremely cool. How cool is it to kick the asses of good as a corrupted fan of the "right" cause? I once played a game with a fallen paladin, still owned pretty much. Go ahead, you know you want to...

heh, no thanks Ox.
And I don't think anyone complained about me butchering Valygar. Even if they did, my romance with Aerie is progressing normally. So no lasting consequences, at least.
Speaking of romances... jeeeesus... the guys at Bioware are all single males with no social skills, aren't they? I mean, holy satan on a hot poker, some of that romance dialogue is absolutely horrible. It's like something Shakespeare would write when he was smoking opium.

You mean like, all the time?
The Aerie romance is pretty sucky yup. In real life, any person would have given up on THAT much insecurity lol. It's like romancing a wounded baby bird.

With the wings cut off. I never was able to finish the Jahiera romance last time I played, it was taking too long, I was waiting for harpers to attack me and they never did, sissies!

Jaheira triggers can be a bit dodgy. I can recommend the romance guide on sorcerers.net for a nice solution.

Satis, Shiny, how's it going along still? In ToB yet, and installed the improved battle mods if so?
Or has the new professional situation put BG2 on the backplan for a while?

yea, BG2 is a bit on the back burner. We just massacred Aran Linvail and his cronies...man, talk about some rich loot. We've made like 3 or 4 trips to sell stuff. Anyway, just finished that. We've finished almost all quests available at this point, except for the graveyard district.
I'm not sure if we're gonna do that now or after the underdark. Anyway, that's about it so far.

Cool, how did you like the thieves' HQ? Like i said, it's one of my fav area's in BG2, it just holds everything you could expect from a thievs' HQ; traps, ambushes, dead ends, etc.

yea, it was pretty cool. Some nice fights. Lots of people turning invisible. I'm glad they go after our summoned creatures more than us. The loot is just wonderful, though. Can't beat that... I think they had alot more loot than Bodhi did when I took her area out in my previous BG2 games. Could be wrong, of course.

Nah; you're right. The "über" loot is still the same, but the more regular loot is way more abundant than in Bodhi's lair. Not illogical as a living thief usualy has more of a craving for material goods than a vampire eh.

depends on the vampire, as I remember it though, Bodhi has probably not been there lon to amass much, the shadow thieves have been there for ages.

welp, just to let you know, we're now in the Sahuagin city. The battle with Irenicus wasn't too bad. And Yoshimo finally did what he was supposed to. Unfortuanetly I don't get much time to play anymore... between work and KOTOR.
