Lol, life is pretty sweet, Parents came up last night with big chocolate cake for my mom's B'day - which they left the remainder of at my flat, so guess what I'm having for tea!
I'm not starving to death yet, so thats good. And I can't have friends over - I don't have any up here, and I can't have girls over - Caz will tell me off
though caz went next door to me while i was at work and got a lift to meet me.
Only thing is (and this little bit is good and bad) Is that the guy next door to me, is the guy that tried it on with caz while they were out a little while back.
So when Caz met me from work and told me this - of course i was pissed off (more than i let on to caz, but she khnows it got to me)
But other than that, life is pretty cool. not really missing anyone or anything other than Kung FU and my dog though... apparently my bro misses me!

Hehe, i worked my way around it; at the start of december (so about now) i tell my dearest ones that i'm not buying anything for them (or nothing expensive anyway), but that i equally don't expect them to do so for me. But since most ppl have some kinda of christmas-ethic they usually DO buy me stuff.
ffs, after the coupons etc. this is gonna make me look even more like a super-cheapskate

actually....we did the same thing with our relatives (shiny and I).... however, shiny appears to have a conscience of sorts... and so she went out and spent $60 on people. Me... well, I told them I didn't want anything and I wasn't buying anything, so they can suck it. After all, I told them I wasn't doing Christmas because I'm poor... if they ignore me, fuck em. Shiny doesn't appear to agree.

both of you have the right ideas, i can never see the point in getting in debt over it all.
if everyone spent the same on each other you may as well say screw it and just everyone buy THEMSELVES something, that way you don't end up with a load of crap

I just think it is fucked up when you give everyone advanced notice you can not afford presents this year and they know someone has not worked in 8 months, and they refuse to not get you anything. Which only makes me feel like crap and spend money I don't have to get people most of which I have said before I do not even like a present.

it does seem like emotional blackmail
i wouldn't be bothered about the people i don't like though, fuck em' the people you care about are a whole different thing entirely but i guess you can't just buy for some and not others.
The people who actualy have a lot of cash are the worst, they just seem to wanna rub your nose in it..
blah..

Heh...tho i guess you weren't waving it around rubbing it in ppl's faces.
I gotta find myself a job sometime soon, only got 80-something € left on my account. I wonder how much i can go below zero. But i got a bit of a safety net being a student and all, i'm not presuming i have any real-life problems with it like you adultish ppl here hehe. The fact that most of my friends have jobs, loans, cars and even houses helps in realizing that.
Say, since apparently your financial situation isn't doing too great, is there someway we can help in paying part of the server costs and whatnot? I mean, i (and others) spend loads of time here on a site solely financed by you guys. I have a paypal account so i'd be more than glad to do something, even if it won't be much. I refer to bankaccount rant hehe
P.S. erh, for the record, i don't think you guys are doing it hobo-style or anything, just wanna help if needed. Blah, why is it so hard to be nice. back in normal mode: SCREW YOU ALL!

no worries... the site is paid through May next year, and I already have some credit from website referals going to the next payment. If it became a problem, you may start seeing ads and me demanding everyone click on them. Thanks for the offer, though.
I have an interview tomorrow. Wish me luck.
