Some of the 'original' members of WO may remember a topic that (i think) Peltz posted, about Divine Divinity, new game in the making blah blah blah with screenies. Now I know it's been out a year now, but I finally got around to buying it. I've been tempted every time I saw it, and finally saw it quite cheap so had to buy it. Anyway, this game rules! There's loads of little funny bits put into it for no reason, like 2 skeletons that you see make you go into a lil cut scene and you see the following:

1st Skel: I dont see how you can be hungry, you've got no stomach
2nd: Yeah but you're talking aren't you? How can you talk with no vocal chords?
1: that's true. And there's no muscle and flesh to hold us together either
2: let's stop talking about this. I don't want to fall apart
1: Yeah, too much existential energy can be a bad thing. let's find something to eat
(both skeletons fall to pieces.

and whats so brilliant about it is the accents the skeletons talk in. no traditional growling grunting barely making any words. one of them has a perfect (if slightly posh!) american accent.

so i was just wondering if anyone else had been tempted by this game. if not, all go buy it. now!

I played the demo, but the graphics were crap.
I loved the two skeleton thing though.

The graphics aren't that crap at all! I mean they may not be up to Halo standard or anything like that, but considering it is a 2D world they're pretty damn good. Fair enough, I have it on the really high quality, at 1025 x 768 res and all the top graphics settings which obviously helps but I consider them pretty good. I mean the lighting on your character is pretty cool, I noticed it when my Warrior had her metal shield on her back.

I wouldn`t call the graphics crap either. I remember playing the demo on my crappy laptop, and i had troubles just playing it, where bg and iwd pose no problem at all. If i happen to find it for a really cheap price i might buy it too, just as i did with IWD2

I was really lucky to see it that cheap i guess, had considered buying it several times (a lot more expensive obviously) but i never decided, thank god for my indecisiveness (difficult word pffff)

lol thats what i was like with dd, i kept looking at it but thinking nah...guess not...and then saw it nice and cheap and it was worth it! you gotta love a good game bargain

I doubt you'll find it there man, although you never know of course. Yesterday i looked in bart smit leuven and they didn't have it there. But you can do some good bargains in bart smit, i saw they have a lot of games for 7.5 or 10 euros now, older games of course but still .. good titles like FIFA, Hitman, ... .
