he could have taken a photo for the basic shapes, and drew the rest himself. Mostlikley he just got a photo and coppied it. rather than traced it.

have you seen some of the intricate stuff he's drawn? I wouldn't be surprised if he used tools to do it, but I'm sure it's all original and not copied.
