Anyone here have a Geocities site? If so, could you possibly help me with mine? |

Is it a web design question, or something specific to geocities? |

I have one. I hate pagebuilder though. The best thng to do Loki is sign up for a free website using Geo, and use MS Frontpage for the design. Then just simply upload the pages using the Geocities file manager. Remember you only have 5MB free webspace so keep the piccies under control. |

Isn't Geocities antileech? In that case you can't even host images on it and then it stinks hard. |

You can only publish the pictures you upload. |

So say I had the barebones of my site in a Notepad type file (which I do), do I just copy and paste? And how big is 5MB? |

5 MB is more than you will ever need, unless you are going to be using a ton of graphics, etc. I'm working on a application that has ~4,000 lines of code, and a couple of picture files. It is around 280 Kb. Basically, unless you are going to be using a sound files or photo albums, you are fine. |

Yes, for buttons and titles 5MB is good enough. You can paste your HTML using geocities, you haveto open the "HTML Editor" or summin which is just a Java Applet like the "PageBuilder". |

You get what you pay for. I helped someone use shyper.com, and had no problems. I don't know how they were after the initial set up. |

Hmmm, i might be able to help you there... one second... A friend of mine went on about these guys for ages, but his words now are "they've gone all assy" http://www.websiteallies.com Last time I checked, you got everything. Unlimited too, but they've dropped it to 300mb space, and 2gb bandwidth. |

er... if you write them all in notepad anyway, like me, then you just save as .html then upload your pages. no need to go near the pagebuilder or any other editor... |
