Hi there.. Let me first start off with how impressing your tweaks page is. I already had most of the bases covered but to find them all in one spot and so well described is really nice.

Reason for my note is that I personally like to use XP's System Restore program. Especially when it comes to backing up the System State. With it, you can quite reliably back up your registry and many other tweakable configurations all together at one time. Anyways.. When I went through and turned off many of my Services using your guide, I found that System Restore would fail on me. Well, I didn't disable the two needed Services that you mentioned so I went through the list again to see what might have done it. Well, it turns out that even though I do not have a removable backup device(hence my disabling of the Removable Storage Service), the System restore program appearantly needs this one to function as well. I put it back on Manual and now I'm able to back up and restore system states again.:D

Granted.. this news is not going to help you in the least since you don't use that program. But I figured that you may want to add that little tidbit to your services page.

Again.. thanks for your site and I hope it'll be around for a long, long time so that I can refer everyone I know to it.:P

Thanks for the input. I'll need to do some research on that before I add it, but I certainly appreciate the feedback. :) And if I have anything to do with it, this site'll be here for a LONG time. heheh. Cheers.

Yeah, spam can was cool, but I think really now we are free from all the anoting members that spammed everything and everyone.

hmm, what was that dudes name, the one who "dissapeared" ? and then aledgedly came back under a different name?

And I hope for God's sake that person isn't really here and I just didn't notice ;)
