http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/AMD-GPU-i ... 31865.html Crysis running on iphone. The game runs on a server and then is streamed over the net to the iphone. Kinda like what Onlive is about. |

I think real-time game streaming is a horrible idea. I also think cloud computing is a bad idea. Thinks like latency, downtime, and packet loss are a network reality, but these technologies just ignore it. Blah... I hope people realize the problems before it becomes so ubiquitous we're forced into it. I also hope that's just not me being old. I could see people nay-saying the internet like that 15 years ago. |

Well thankfully technology doesnt just stop. It might just be that it is good for the time being untill something else comes along. |
