Hi, So work blocks alot of websites that I would like to view (not porn). So what Im looking at doing is putting a proxy server on my pc at home, open the appropriate holes in my router then fill that hole by connecting to the pc from work using my home external ip address. Also I would like to have to log into the proxy so other peoples cant fill my holes. Im doing my own research but I thought this would be a great place to ask. |

I used to use some of the free ones that are out there, but they're all painfully slow and probably blocked anyway. I toyed around with the idea of building my own using PHP and curl, but I have too many other things I'd rather do with my time. So, I'm afraid I don't have much to contribute to the discussion. If you find anything good, please let us know. |

Can't help - my job barely blocks anything apart from actual hardcore porn (and even then) so I never really felt the need to find a proper proxy. Sorry man. |
