I got my a new laptop. 
Stats: Dell XPS 1340 Intel Core 2 Duo P9600 (2.66ghz, 1066mhz FSB, 6MB L2 Cache) 4GB DDR3 @ 1067mhz 13.3" screen NVIDIA GeForce 9500M - 256MB 128GB SSD Vista Premium Home 64bit 
I'm selling my old alienware to help finance this monster. Oh, and it's only like 4 1/2 lbs. |

Man, how does that thing compare to your current desktop? You know you're decadent when your laptop is better or equal to your desktop.

heh...thanks. Not sure about game performance, but the thing's really snappy in Vista. After I turned off UAC and did some other tweaking, Vista really isn't so bad. I haven't had any problems with it so far, at least. I installed Steam on it yesterday... I may try playing some games today to see how it performs. I doubt the game performance will be better than my 8800gt. |

is that Vista 32 or 64 bit? Cause if you can run 3dmark 05 on it I might try it too. |

It's got Vista 64 home premium. I have no idea if 3d mark runs on it... I guess I can try. |

ok, I got 3dmark06 to run (you have to copy some openAL drivers to get it to work). I scored 3564 3dmarks. I reran PCMark05 using hybridSLI and scored 7073 PCMarks. http://www.nvidia.com/object/hybridsli_notebook.html |

Yea so - we learned that my dog can kill Satis' new Laptop by laying on it. So, Satis is getting a new one sent to us by Dell. Then he will have to return the old one that no longer works. I think Satis hates my dog now. Poor little/big guy! Actually considering, Satis was very understanding. Just a little pissed. |
