It's a CPU designed for ultra-small portables and such. What's cool is that it can handle HD video (1080p). It can also play Quake3 at 40fps in full antialiased mode. That's not bad considering that outperforms the first PC I ever built. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7430768.stm http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/02/nvid ... -mid-game/

Why would anyone even try to run full hd on a 4" screen is beyond me. |

haha...well, if it has a video out you could hook it up to a larger screen. Having something ultra-portable like that make sense if you're going to carry it everywhere with you... take it to the kitchen and use it to pull up recipes. Take it to the living room to watch HD video. etc etc. I'm just glad someone's coming up with an ultra-portable where video is important. One of my biggest gripes about modern PCs is the crappy integrated graphics. Unless you're willing to cough up the cash for a high-end laptop, of course. Where's the $1000 notebook that can play modern games, though not at full rez? I can build a gaming pc for under $800 now. |

I wonder what resolution was used when playing Q3. But then again Q3 is not the industry standard anymore. Dont get me wrong, im all for smaller and more efficient stuff that cost less money operating. |
