Ace Utilities is a collection of tools to optimize your system performance and to remove unneeded files and internet tracks. It allows you to find and remove invalid registry entries, delete your application and internet history (plug-in support for 85+ external programs), manage your cookies and more. You can also see what programs start automatically with windows and optionally disable selected items. Furthermore, Ace Utilities includes options to find duplicate files, fix or remove broken shortcuts and to uninstall software. Other features include secure file deletion, disk space analysis, tweaking of hidden settings, an Empty Folder finder and more.

I've been using this for five minutes and I can say it works pretty good, espescially for people like me who don't know a shit about andvanced computing but still want their pc to be quite tidy. :)
The only problem is that it's a 30-day trial. :?
Does anyone else here use this?

you could always just keep changing your clock on the computer, but that does eventually bugger things up. Cause your computer will have dates stored for when things were installed, if you keep changing the date back the computer says a date before the programs were installed. and then they don't seem to work

It hasn't yet screwed anything. I haven't found a backup-before-deleting option anywhere though.

Hmmm, Dunno if i can be bothered with downloading a trial, but it sounds like it could help, does it contain the tweaks that are currently availible to do manually?
