Post subject:  Xbox360 - constructed after August 2007
As i read the consoles produced after august 2007 have had some upgrades. My question is, how do i know if the console has been produced later than the date given?

I think it's on the back of the console - there should be a born date on there. Failing that, call up MS and give them the serial number.

Lol. Here's an Xbox live tip for you,

Go back to the create an account thing a couple of times and create a Japanese and an American account (google 'Japanese/American Xbox live accounts for real post codes) this way you can download stuff well in advance, compared to the rate the European servers get updated.

Also, if you're gonna become an achievement whore, make a fake gamertag for testing out the demos - because it adds the 1000 points to your overall 'available' score.

But I'm a gamerscorewhore, you might not be.

Erm, I think you may have misunderstood me on that one. But then from your reply, you might have understood me perfectly.

But just incase.

Lets say, you own 1 game. Most games give you the opportunity to earn 1000G. (G is for GamerScore)

So far, your profile shows this

1 Game, Total Available Score: 1000 (this is the max score you could have, not the score that you actually have. For instance, you might have only 500 points 'claimed', but still a max of 1000 is available.)

But then, you think "Ooh! Mass Effect 2 Demo! Yay!"

So you go ahead and download it. (Or any XBLA demo)

Now your profile shows this

2 Games, Available G: 2000G

But you only own one game, and unless you buy the Mass Effect 2 game, you can never earn that other 1000G.

I learned this the hard way, so much so that I Don't care any more, but still. It's gay when your mate downloads FIFA (or some other game you never play) so that your Gamescore shows a big fat 0/1000G :(

Ok, got it, not downloading bullshit unless i intend to buy the game.

EDIT: Or ill use PeltzEE account which i couldnt find a way to link it to my existing profile that had the score in it. Hence the PeltzEST.
