well, I didn't look at the exploit code, but the specific exploit posted was clicking on a mailto link in firefox would cause 100 copies of a mail-to window to launch. Work around, don't click mail-to links. I never do anyway, so it's kinda a nonissue.
If you do use mail-to links, there are other workarounds posted.
