either
1. You're having serious windows problems.
2. You have 'acquired' your mp3s from some source that attempted to exploit an id3 buffer overflow bug in windows to do something bad. However, the code is flawed and is crashing.
3. Something else entirely.
Try going into folder options and using windows classic folders. Failing that, check windowsupdate for patches.

Have you tried with an alternative filebrowser?

@ arathorn: No
@ Satis, I'll give that a shot. It seemed to occur from when I coppied my Rammstein CD to the directory. I'll mess about tomorrow and have a look. It seems to be causing no other issues.

Im getting quite a few Windows Explorer crashes too at the moment. Which is probably due to some software i installed. XP Home sucks ass.
