The time has come. Now I'll ask for help.
I'd like to put my new site on some server (that's called hosting) which give me existance conditions like this:

- 1 GB (or more) Web space
- Unlimited throughput
- High throughput speed
- 24/7 working with rare exceptions
- PHP 5 support
- MySQL 4 and wanna-be-higher support
- Powered by Apache 2 @ linux (Slackware i.e.)

For a reasonable prize.

Well, you can just name what you have on mind.

Any other advices (like, which credit card I should have for this) are welocome. Thank you for all replies.

rofl. He's looking for a web host.

Good luck finding one with unlimited transfer. Mostly just the 'new' upstarts say that, and either they don't mean it, or someone takes advantage of it and they're out of business within a couple months.

I'm hosted by http://powweb.com

You may want to check them out. They fulfill basically all those requirements.

O ok. now thats its close to lunch time and I have had 3 meals in me I understand.

www.jumpline.com

thats where I host. Reason being, good stuff for the price AND its a VDS meaning your website is in its own little shell meaning, what happens to this website sometimes, when it goes down cause other users sharing the website are abusing it, wont happen with a VDS.

Question is probably dumb: where I can see which credit card works for which of these services? I think most of listed are not available for me.

I think its safe to say that they only take visa, master card, discover, american express. If you have one of those you should be safe.
