I was wondering, what media players do you people use? I switched from good ol' Winamp to Foobar2000 some time ago, and as much as I liked Winamp, I like Foobar more, espescially once I got it configured (wich is it's weak point, you'll have to configure everything and install a lot of plug-ins if you want it to look pretty). For video files I normally use VideoLAN, except for the rare occasions when I have a Real or Quicktime file so I need Real and Quicktime Alternative. |

I use Windows media player 10 now. I uninstalled Winamp for the following reasons. 1. WMP 10 takes less to open and run. 2. WMP 10 has better visualisations. 3. Winamp doesnt work on guest user accounts. 4. WMP supports more media formats. In other words, Winamp needs an update! |

I use the holy trinity of noobness: media player, quicktime and realone (!). I don't care either way, I don't fool around with video too much. As long as I can watch trailers and porn I'm fine. And if there's a problem I'll find a solution. |

I typically use Media player classic. Kinda like old Windows Media Player but quicker, standalone (no install!), it's opensource, and it works. http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ |
