Lol. What is VoIP? And i don't have cable tv. Microwave - true, but I can't heat up tesco's 88p value ready meals with plastic containers in or on the stove :S Yeah, I've got my monitor to turn off too. Seriously though, I can't believe that there isn't an option to auto shut down a computer based on idle time. Stupid m$.
And yeah, I don't have air conditioning, I have energy saving light bulbs, and the only "air conditioning" that I have, is that of a fan in my kitchen, which turns on if I turn on both lights. So I just leave the back light off, so the fan doesn't come on. (Oh, and obviously, in my shower room to prevent damp, because there's no window in there) at least with summer coming aroung now, there's less need for lights and heating
It's not like the £5 is a make or die situation, it would just be nice to live a bit more comfortably about the 0 mark once all the bills go.

lol Satis! Aw man.
Oops, i should have mentioned to you earlier that computers do not consume much electricity.
Secondly, my advice for you. If £5 is so important, have the damn intelligence to switch the fucking thing off.

No, youre just trying to find an excuse to support your laziness.

I already have the excuse to support my lazyness. and it is as follows,
I'm not lazy, I'm just energy efficient.
And speaking of the devil, I just stupidly did what I said I would do. I left my computer on, the monitor black out as per schecdule. So I didn't realise the comp was on. Before I know it, I'm playing XIII on the xbox, and then I wathced shanghai knights. Or noon. and however you spell shanghai.

You should read the XIII comic book series if you've got the time and cash...awesome stuff. Read them all 16...conspiracies, plot twists, general confusion of identity. Gotta love it.
Even better (at times) is the Thorgal comic series. Especially the albums 'The Master of the Mountains' and 'The Crown of Ogotaï' are great: they deal with distortions in time and its implications -not too shabby for a series set in viking-ish timeslot. But best is to read the entire series from album 1 on...so you understand and/or appreciate the complete storyline. Check your local library or something, maybe they have the series.

Heh, I can't register at my library - I don't have ID with my current address on it, only my old address.
