American Steel pwns all!

Actually, I have no idea. And you're right...I happened to live in Korea when the Asian economy took a crap (like, 9 years ago or something) and the value of the Korean won against the dollar dropped in half. It was amazing, I was suddenyl 'rich'. Of course, it sucked for the Koreans.

Heh, actually, US steel sucks most of all. The reason why the Bush administration conceived those steel tariffs some years ago was because US steel makers couldn't compete with the rest of the world (resulting in higher steel prices for industries using steel like the automobile industry off course).
I believe the Japanese are biggest in steel.

Yeah, I know they'll _try_ and tax me on it. But i'll just go over there myself and smuggle it in. And as far as basic powersuply differences go, there's a switch for that on the back of the PC. Not sure how it'd work when it came to the actual hard ware though?

Nope, last couple of years it's China all the way, the Chinese market is growing massively and won't stop for a while...

We cna just hope that once China grows enough, there'll be a popular uprising and the current shit-ass government gets replaced. But anyway...

...if you get a powersupply that supports 220, that should be all you need. Everything else runs off the converted DC power. Except the front panel, I think. So you may have some LEDs on your front panel explode. :)

Double post but problem solved.

Bascially, my power suply wasn't directly suplying my MOBO. For some reason, it worked fine for over a year. Nearly 2 maybe. But basically i need a power suply with a 4 pin connection for the MOBO. Got a 300 (hz? is it?) for a tenner, so i'm happy again.

300 watt. And 300 watts is nothing. Be prepared to replace that sucker again in the near future, especially if you're running a pc with any high-end hardware. 350 is like the minimum for a computer with even a semi-decent video card any more. Personally, I don't aim for less than 400watts.

nah, 400 watts should be fine unless you have alot of hard drives or something. I personally prefer 450, and consider 500 watts to be overkill. :P Still, alot of it depends on the manufacturer. If you take a gander at that article I linked, you'll see why.
