 Very basic PC cooling picture This is basically how the case fans work on an average pc case. Now imagine if this case is set on a floor that has fair amount of dust, and thats how the fans of cpu and gpu get clogged.

Something that i've been wonderin for some time now is that the highend rigs that require more air in the case than a nissan micra engine, the cases come without wheels or legs. But i guess the owners of these rigs de_dust it regularly and take more care of it than an average pc user.

I opened my case up today just for that, a little dusting.
It was surprisingly clean actually. The graphics card was spotless and the mobo was generally clean too. I got a hoover on a couple of the 120mm fans and the CPU fan. Yes I know youre not supposed to hoover, but I don't give a shit

Well the amount of dust inside the case is linked to the amount dust particles floating in the air so we can guess that your room is fairly clean overall.

my front intake fans have screens on them that I clean occasionally. I also open my case up and use canned air to clean it every few months.
