This is an article about the naming game Nvidia and Ati have been playing with laptop GPUs. A 2007 8800 has been renamed into GTX280M which has roughly half the performance of the "real" 280. The conclusion is that both ATI and Nvidia are guilty as charged of misleading the customer with their renaming policy.
