And supposedly it's quad-sli capable...so....you can put 4 of these in a machine?

Yeah that thing is a beast, im happy that its an asus product. The biggest bottleneck for that thing is the software as in games aren't coded or optimized for such cards.

Sorry, fixed the image link. Anyway, agreed, most games can't make true use of the hardware. Dual-card SLI is of some use. When you start going to triple or more, it becomes pointless. And what game would actually use 4GB of texture memory?
I showed the image to a coworker and she commented it looked like a VHS tape.

Yea, but it should be bigger than a vhs tape in reality, as in wider and fatter but less height.
