Post 4850 vs GTS250
The reason im posting this is that it's very even battle. These are non-reference cards and they really go neck to neck on the tests.

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/geforce-g ... 31559.html

So if yer about to suggest one of these cards, it really does come down to the price.

EDIT: In estonia they are even priced the same, with a price diff of 2$. But these are the cheapest versions of the cards.

At newegg though, the ATI card (109$) has a 15$ advantage over the gts 250 (124$)

As i understand the GTS250 is essentially a rebadged 9800GTx+. These companies feed on confusing the customer.

Oh and if you should ever get into an argument over GPUs and one of the arguments is that one of the cards shows higher score in 3dmark then you are obliged to ask the person how often do they play 3dmarks, have a nice day :D

heh... I typically stick with nvidia because I've had good luck with their cards and drivers. Admittedly I haven't used a non-nvidia card in... err... a decade or so... but why break a good thing? the first time I have serious driver issues, that may change.

However, I applaud ATI making nvidia fight for its position. It's lowered prices and increased performance.
