What is this VIVO (Video In/Video Out) thingy on graphics cards?

it lets you input video and take video out of a video card.

In my experience, it's usually a single plug on the back of the video card that take a dual-pronged pluggy thing. One side is the out, one side is the in. With the in, you can pipe video into your comptuer and use specialized software to capture it. The outside you can just use to pump video (ie, your computer's screen contents) to some output device, like a TV or video recorder.

Do you know what kind of devices i can plug into the In plug?

Im thinking along the lines of hooking up an old VHS camcorder and digitising it onto DVD.

I think it takes rca-type video jacks. Realize that it's only the video. You have to plug the sound into your sound card or something and record that too.

Honestly, that shit is such a pain in the ass to get to work, I just bought and external, USB-driven device to do it. Works great.
