W00t! Every person more playing Bg makes me a happy person (or: BG obsessed freak, whichever you prefer)!
Are we talking BG1 or 2 here? And keep us posted on your progress, or on how hard you own Satis' ass in the game if you're doing a LAN mp game. Cos IIRC in you guys' last game you could take him.
I would startr sprouting all kinds of mp ideas with the rest of the crew here but normally speaking i should get a beta copy of a huge total conversion today (note: NORMALLY speaking, Belgian postal services ain't normal) and thus have to use a totally different override folder to test it. But that wouldn't stop someone else from hosting ofcourse.
Blah..gotta get my ass back in class, missed the first half cos i had to go xerox some 50 pages manually. Damn class-attending biatch insists on using txtbooks instead of loose papers.

We're playing BG2. I'm the protagonist (ranger) and she's a druid. Right now, I think I'd take her. We've done the Circus and the druid quest in trademeet so far... working on the Dao quest. Got our asses thoroughly trounced in the druid grove several times, especially in the troll mound. Level 8-10 characters shouldn't take on hordes of trolls, I guess.

Lol...unless you've got lots of ppl with big swords and axes not no. And i would suppose being the strongest party member also means the boss...in our mp game we always showed Inqui how we felt when he complained about me and BJ being too evil etc. lol...very democratically ofcourse.
*casts vampiric touch, then harm on Inqui*
keep us posted about the adventures..

heh...well, we beat the Dao... just killed them all. For some strange reason the protagonist was instantaneously slain the first time we tried it, but this time we kicked some but. Got a bottle, a sword and a load of XP as a result. We're doing the family feud thing now (the evil way) and getting our asses kicked by the mages. We hadn't rested since the tomb, though... next time we'll buff the party up and put ourselves in a more advantageous formation.
btw, right now we've got
minsc
aerie
jaheira
yoshimo
belemir (my g/f)
and saranon (me)
we thought about taking Cernd so we'd have 3 druids, but that seemed a bit excessive. I'm not sure if we're gonna swap aerie for Edwin or something... or Minsc for the dwarf guy. I kinda wanna get Aerie preggie, though.

just because we can. My chick chose druid just for the hell of it, and I forgot Jaheira was a druid..then Cernd came along and I was like, hey! More druids! Party of druids! But no, three druids is kinda pointless. Right now the closest I have to a mage is Aerie...I'm thinking of ditching either her or Jaheira and picking up a real mage.

I only chose druid because mage is to much for to handle... as I have said previously I suck at games... and I wanted to play with spell like things...and have played thief...and fighter type of guy so yeah....hense druid

From the looks of things, methinks you'll be needing more fighters than spellcasters. But then, I've seen Aerie kill Demo with a quarterstaff so your say.

Aerie is a very good mage at high levels.
But fighters in your party are necesary too, like a good monk.
