I just didn't know that charisma is the primairy stat for sorcerers (or bards). I don't get why that determines your spellcastingabilities either but whatever.

My soceror cant cast his higher level spells, they are beyond his ability of something. Theres the same problem with my Paladin, ill post the stats: |

I suppose we`re talking IWD 2 here, i only got the game for a few weeks now, but i had to restart my game because my sorcerer was useless. I gave him a really low score in charisma, and that`s rather important for bards and sorcerers. So your charisma is too low for your sorc (char determines the number of spells you can cast i believe) Don`t know about the palladin, probably a similar problem, haven`t checked his stats. I have a ranger and she doesn`t have much spells either i think, i might have the same problem there. But the sorcerer really needs high CHAR. *edit* palladin might need higher WIS |

I had to redo the prologue thing because i only decided to sleep after i finished that. All my spells were gray, couldn`t understand why. Untill my brother said i needed charisma. Grmbl. So now i have a sorcerer with high charisma and high intelligence. Playing safe now. |

It says all over the place: "MAGIC USERS NEED 10+LVL IN THEIR PRIMARY STAT TO CAST SPELLS AT X LVL" ie, sorc needs 18 cha for lvl 8 spells wiz needs 18 int druid/cleric needs 18 wis paladin/ranger needs 14 wis to cast their max lvl bard needs 18 cha |

Read carefull derf, i do know how painful it is because i made the same mistake. can you 'cheat' in it? like with shadowkeeper in bg2? because i restarted my game with other characters. |
