Is it possible to dual-class an Archer to a mage? I'm thinking I could make my archer specialize in the sling, then dual him. Is this possible? Thanks |

If i remember correctly, a 'kit' class can never dual class. Not sure about it though. Have you checked the bg dual class faq on the main forum?? here is nothing mentioned about an archer/mage. and you would probably need amazing stats to get a good one too. If you wanna be 100% sure, you can always make an archer with the required high str, dex, wis AND int (  ) and see if you can dual him.
Or wait for someone else to confirm my statement (or say i'm wrong) |

Right now actually having bothered to check the Dual class guide myself, no you can't dual an archer into a mage. You can only dual rangers into clerics, so you'll have to use a fighter and then dual class into a mage, but obviously you won't have the called shots nor will you be able to have as good a proficiency in the sling |
