Hmm...ok, just kinda bored really, but hey. Re-installed NWN on the new comp. Won't work. Was a few months back, but I *think* it's coz I don't have OpenGL installed. Can't remember the error message. but hey. Anyway, downloaded OpenGL, unzipped it. got a readme and a .dll. readme made no sense. so, do i just stick the .dll into my System32 folder? Help!!! Me gotted SoU too...er...for free #cough# but yeah...me wants to play! |

It's an old 3dfx thing, used by their Voodoo cards. Kinda like OpenGL and stuff, I believe, but proprietary to their cards. It was cool for the time, but is completely worthless in today's world. Didn't Voodoos have like 8MB of RAM? (laff) |

lol it might not've been glide satis! i got the error about 3 months ago and have been too lazy to do anything, but I know it was something like OpenGL. Shouldn't b glide coz i don't have a voodoo card but you know what comps are like. but basically i think severance might be linked to the same prob, coz the intro movie to it (which i love) won't show, although the game itself runs like a dream. I'll have to try to run NWN again sometime and see what it actually says. |
