Nice post Derf...currently replaying Fallout 1 with a goody-good sissie character (10 CHA, INT, PER, LU and 2 END, STR and 4 AGI) with speech, science and barter as tag skills.  So I'm filthy rich even only some way into the game -try gambling with a luck of 10- but I can't use any big weaponry. So seeing these goodies above makes my mouth water. Maybe my F2 char will be a Rambo, we'll see.
The random encounters are pretty hilarious with a luck of 10, too. Great fun.
