I'm sure I've mentioned this, but Vanguard is looking for promising. Here's an interview that talks about the crafting system. Unlike you fools, killing people isn't the only thing I enjoy doing in games. :)

Will have a look at the link later, always wondered if this is meant to be good. Seems to be a common blackmail tool in all other mmo's for the past year (zomg if you devs don't sort this out i'll leave to Vanguard!) Good crafting always interests me

cool, early 2007 release. :/ It needs to be sooner. I'm so bored of current games. Of course...with my luck it won't play on my computer because of the processor. :x Anyway, those screenies are hot. And the game is going to pwn. Deep crafting, mounts, housing... what's there not to love?

ok, you're right. Well, I think we'll have about 2 years before they totally make the game suck ass, judging from Star Wars Galaxies.

Good news for you Satsi: LucasArts is working on a nextgen Star Wars game to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the license. The game will be released next year and will take place somewhere between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

Alternatively, you could reinstall KOTOR II and play the 'restored' version.

It's almost done, they're betatesting. They've been working on restoring cut out material, fixing dialogues that didn't make much sense and much more...basically, making KOTOR 2 the way it was supposed to be: a great RPG, not a buggy game with half the content cut out leaving the other half making little sense. :roll:

Yea i saw that, I hope the bloodmage and dread knights are still in the game. I hope SOE hasnt evolved, turning games to crap during beta.

We just got beta preorder packs in store today; needless to say I bought one. Just installing it now so look out for it. Have to agree to an NDA while playing it but I'm sure they won't mind if I come here and tell you if its actually good or not ;)

NDA? There shouldn't be an NDA. It's currently in open beta. A friend of mine here is playing it... he loves it. Also, the release date has been confirmed as January 30. :)

meh fair enough lol, it just says in the preorder pack that you have to adhere to the NDA still. but anyway, just patching it. so far its taken... 6 hours and has another 11.5 left :roll:

6 GB compressed seems to be the download, no wonder that it takes some time. Heard about people downloading for 3 days. I hope they like the game :P
