Oh man now i'm pissed. I'm battling Irenicus in Hell which is a hell of a though fight if you ask me. I manage to kill the sword and the dragon, i get my amulet back which i want to equip and the stupid thing crashes to desktop. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH 
I was finally hoping to make any progress in that fight. Sigh. |

even AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHER now !! i managed to kill his companions, he's teleporting around, i knock him unconscious and the game freezes. SIGH. It just isn't meant to be. I'm making (slight) progress though. Still need to find something against the lvl drain. That's really annoying. |

Mm, I encountered a similar problem with another mod, so I know the feeling. The game would freeze up as soon as I dealt him the final blow, and he was wa quest-char so I couldn't just let it slide.  I ended up ctrl-y'ing him, which didn't crash--> me happy.  It was improved yaga-shura btw. Anyhoo, good luck kicking Irenicus' ass J...you know, someday you'll maybe find his power useful rather than frustrating, hehe. If you make the right choices anyway.

I have killed all growling bastards but nothing happens. Kinda plot does not care for JI's death. I just get bored and tried to uninstall and then install it again. Then I got the real horror: All creatures in the final battle were doublenoumbered. I killed them all with simple cheating but still - nothing happened. So, then I uninstalled everything. But uninstall allways crasched. Then I decided it is enough. I have restored my prev. files and removed all downloaded mods (about 400MB) from my HDD (don't worry, I have coies on some CD somewhere). Yes, yes, I could just export the game and load it to the ToB but doublenumbering problem was occured earlier with Tashia. Taking it further with so numerous bugs would be a great risk. Flat BG is my choice now. FCK the modders and uncomfortable modding tools! |
