Edit: added a picture of weird bug, some dude in circle of magi was sitting on air, next to the chair and table.

This game is starting to suck. Its the same old hard ass dungeon grind to complete some part of the story. Grind, story, grind story. Its kinda of getting old. Especially when you in the middle of some long epic stupid fight , you know where you're unable to save the game, and the game fucking crashes.

I haven't had a single crash in 70 hours of play, but I can feel your pain. Don't know about the dungeon crawling though...only time I ever felt like that was in the Deep Roads and they're kind of supposed to feel endless and claustrophobic so I didn't really mind.
As for 'grinding'...unless you're really plowing for money and/or XP and not to actually advance the storyline, it's not grinding. That's a MMORPG thing (and some JRPG's). Maybe you're just not digging the fact that it's a long-ass game?

It feels like a mmo grind sometimes. Its the same thing but with different monsters. Go to a new area, get some storyline, onoes people need help, grind, grind, mini boss, grind, grind, boss, story, new place, rinse repeat.

It seems im not the only one who feels that they have played this game before. A most unexpected turn of events indeed.

You guys need to play The Witcher if you're looking for a break from the Bioware RPG mold. Amazing game.
I dig/dug DA very, very much though. Sucks that you guys didn't.

I've been playing Borderlands mainly... that's a grind. But I can see where they're coming to regarding DA. I haven't quite gotten annoyed with it yet... there's still quite a bit of variety imo. Oh well, we shall see.

Well, the Mages Circle part of the story including the Fade in that part was pretty amazing. After that the other 2 spots I been too, Orzammar and Redcliffe have been pretty standard.

Yea, I don't know about that. It's awfully short for an RPG. The 'short' games I've played are overwhelmingly first person shooters.. you expect them to not last all that long, since you tend to race through the content. RPGs are more slow paced, so the same amount of work that makes 6 hours worth of shooter can make 30 hrs of RPG, imo. A 15 hr, $40 RPG expansion pack seems like a rip off.
Now, I wouldn't mind dropping $5-$10 on new areas and quests and whatnot. Say, if they made Orlais visitable with your current characters and bundled in 40 hrs of gameplay for $50, I'd totally do it. This seems like a money grab. The BS they pulled with the launch-day DLC already cast them in some doubt in my eyes.

Does this mean MMO-style changing of previous level-up choices? That would be lame.

I think it will allow you to respec the spells/skills so if you did some foolish choices on your path you wouldnt have to be stuck with them forever. So pretty much yeah.
