Really?! No offense Peltz, but BG2 is a cakewalk in normal difficulty. And I agree with you J...before Myrdinn gets that spell cast Firkraag will have ripped him to pieces. But maybe a cleric/mage wearing the robe of vecna+amulet of power will be fast enough?

Regardless if he's fast enough, Firkraag will still have 1 hp left, be REALLY pissed and obliterate that cleric/mage, waaaay beyond ressurection.
And prolly heal himself after that

lol...no doubt...heal is a bad enough spell to counter, but with a dragon stacking tons of HP and virtually undisruptable spells it's HELL.

Worth a thought though. What about a Cleric/Mage using Mantle spell at the same time or a timestop?

Well i don't know about Firkraag his AC, but a cleric/mage has a good chance of missing him i would think, you could easily waste your harm spell that way, and then what.

Try again, use some spell to improve THACO or make sure he hits. Technically it can work, its just that a strategy would need to be used.

I'm confused, i thought it was you asking for hints/tips/strategies on impossible firkraag. I've killed him a long time ago, my savegame is in the fridge now, maybe i'll pick it up someday. Haven't fired up BG in months i think.

Haha, yeah, J is now officially 1337 after beating all those mods, so don't go giving him any advice.

I was simply commenting. Would I dream of giving people advice?

Thank you, although now I have to move back to uni. I leave my family and my com for which I fought (if someone remember) behind me, for five months.
Cannot remove feeling that I leave a very part of myself.
