Appearantly Dark Alliance 2 is coming out soon (on Xbox and PS2), and since i'm a big BG-fan i'd like to know how you feel about these games (if you got any feelings about it). My brother played the first one, and it sucked compared to the PC-BG he said.

Anyone else played it or knows anyone that likes or dislikes it? Opinions about BG:DA II ??

i've got dark alliance 1, and yeah, compared it is shit, its pure hack and slash but its ok for a laugh. i actually play it with my son but he hogs all the best stuff much more fun 2 player.

i'll be getting the sequel when it appears, from what i've heard you can make your own weapons, blah, 80 levels of gaming and much more choce in characters this time. (i.e an elf necromancer(!), a drow monk, dwarf thief, etc.)

One of the things i don't get, is why they offer just a few fixed characters. Like a dwarven rogue, how the hell do you come up with such an idea.

Anyway, i might keep an eye out for it. And then i just have to convince my gf to play it with me.
