Hehe, sorry...I forget quickly. When I'm kicking ass and typing at the same time in-game, anyway. ;)

lol, yea, silly cracker.

I made it to copperhammer mines and mines of moladune last night. I got bored. :p I also have the uber pwnzer minion master necro skill now. :) I can make massive armies now, given enough corpses. muhahaha.

Since I'm not doing any missions, I may have to do some runs through snake dance and stuff for more elite skills. I've got some neat ones, but I really want well of power. Or blood is power. One of the two. :)

Well of power dude, well of power! :P

I'm gonna go roam the world for some elite skills too...I already got 2 of the better ones, Warrior's endurance and Dwarven battle stance.

Warrior's Endurance Elite Skill
For 5-23 seconds, you gain 3 Energy each time you hit with a melee attack. Warrior's Endurance cannot raise your Energy above 5-17.

Dwarven Battle Stance Elite Skill
For 5-11 seconds, if they hit, your hammer attacks interrupt your target. Dwarven Battle Stance ends if you use a skill.

There are some other very nice ones like Defy Pain, Battle rage, Flourish, Victory is mine...we'll see. :)

K, need opinions...I just did the secondary profession ele quest, and only need to go to the questgiver to become an elementalist as a side-job.

So, go through with it? I only really use one necro skill anymore lately (the one where you can transfer a negative condition to an enemy on touch...rocks for when I'm bleeding, blinded or suffering from a deep wound), so it's not like I'll totally miss the black arts. Elementalism, on the other hand, has some véry nice defence boosting skills.

Armor of Earth
For 30 seconds, you gain 24-53 armor, but move 50%-21% slower than normal.

Kinetic Armor
For 8 seconds, you gain +10-34 armor. Whenever you cast a spell, Kinetic Armor is renewed for 8 seconds.

Obsidian Flesh Elite Skill
For 8-20 seconds, you gain +20 armor and cannot be the target of enemy spells, but move 50% slower.

Ward Against Elements
For 8-18 seconds, nearby allies gain +24 armor against elemental damage.

Ward Against Melee You create a ward against melee at your current location. For 8-18 seconds, allies in this area have a 50% chance to evade melee attacks.

Ward Against Foes
You create a Ward Against Foes at your current location. For 8-18 seconds, foes in this area move 50% slower.

Needless to say that there's some sweet stuff among that. I'm pretty sure I'm going ele, but I'd still like to hear some opinions...if you're quick. :P

And don't worry, I'll try to build out the ele side of things by the weekend. The spells I'm interested in anyway.

fighting to Marhan's grotto is impossible before you get infused, so don't bother trying. Mursaat will pwn you. :p One of the missions gets you pretty close to it, so it's kinda a waste to fight all the way from Drok or whatever.

Anyway, yea, I say go ele. Either earth ele for the defense (ward against melee, totally) or fire and get meteor shower. The knockdown pwns, though I'm not sure if you could afford the 25 energy cost.

I'm totally going defence, I don't have anywhere near the energy for the big offensive spells (have 20 energy  ). I'm thinking the more energy-heavy spells could be combined with Warrior's Endurance (gives +3 energy for every melee hit you make over something like 18 seconds, really neat). We'll see.

After hearing you, Pev and Mole i took up elementalist as secondary profession and started gathering a few skills I really want through quests or vendors. Stuff like ward against melee/foes/elements, armor of earth, etc. I'm getting there. :)

Btw Satis, Mursaat ain't got nothing on me. :P I killed bands of Mursaat before with worse henchmen, so I'm guessing it's theoretically possible to go to Marhan's Grotto...if they come in groups of max 3, that is. Anything more than that is very certainly = death. :( Me needs to get that infusing thing.

yea, we'll hit it this weekend, I'm sure. I'm unstoppable right now. I started going into Snake's Dance to try and pick up the well of power, but something happened and I networked lagged hard. I think it was GW's fault. Anyway, I got up to 12 bone fiends before it got stupid. I'm certain I could've hit 20. :( The damage is fearful at that number. MUHAHAHAHA.

Anyway, looking forward to tearing some ass this weekend.

Hehehe, nice on the bone fiends. So, you go out there alone or with henchies? Cos if you could afford not taking any henchies with all your minions, it's farming awesomeness. :) Especially in those areas.

In other news: Pev and I did the Kiiiillrrrrooooy Stoneskiiiiin quest last night. My warrior, her ranger, few henchies (well, 5 :P)...we actually managed to do it pretty easily. Got some medium nice items, great XP and a good feeling.

After the quest we ventured a little further into SF, but before too long things got fucked up. And by that I mean that I died and kept dying, lol. Two rather unfortunate DoT deaths (crappy Menhlo didn't heal for 10 full seconds :P) when rushing a bunch of necros and mesmers, and after that it was just done for. As a tank I nééd the high HP, as you can imagine. So, anyway, we did get a little bit deeper into the area into a mushroom cave, then we came to a large stone stairwell filled with Dark Summit. Luckily there was a res shrine right next to it lol. We killed them after MANY deaths but Pev had to go to sleep after that, and I got my ass royally kicked. If it wasn't for Pev we would have even gotten halfway the stairs tho, hehe. Anyhoo....good fun.

Also noticed water magic has some pretty good defense magic too. Mmm.

hehe yeah SF was awesome fun, so we need Mole, Satis and Shiny there next time :P

btw ox if you're around, get on gw!

Oooh I found my way to Marhans Grotto today as well. So I'm saving for 15k armour ;) Druids looks funky on the female ranger lol. Just another 58plat to go, 151 wood planks and around 300 tanned hide squares. *sigh* Best get farming! Plus I need more silver/green dyes now. hehe. But they're easy enough to get.

I have the wood planks if you want em.

As for the rest...well, the plats you'll have to cover. That would break me. :p But I can start salvaging everything I pick up again. Should get there pretty quickly.

2handed wand, eh? heh...staff? :P Anyway, you suck...I haven't gotten a single green yet.

On a positive note, all the hacking around I've been doing has yielded quite a number of golds. I've gotten several REALLY nice items, including an earth ele staff (I believe) with +14 energy. :) And like +25 health or something. Nice ele staff, regardless.

I got some nice staves for anyone interested too...also have a shield that gives +1 death magic Satis, whats your necro's secondary again?

Have any of you been to the heart of SF yet btw? I went there for the first time today, it was pretty awesome. Lots of bosses around there too. Got two green drops from the entire run, but none for me.

Anyway, the place is so cool, massive area with tons of patrols and moving chains and whatnot, with flames striking out (and damaging you) from all directions. Best part was the huge, iron dude in the middle of it though...he's impressive. And very well guarded, heh. He yanks the chains hanging around him from time to time if you get too close, which does stuff like dropping a heavy iron weight on your smacker (80 damage for my, armored, character) or pouring molten iron over your character (fire/burning damage). Not enough to outright kill you, but it definitely hurts. Anyway, attached some pics to show you the awesomeness...

Btw, what's fissure of woe about? PVP or PVE? We need to do that some time too...
