MELEE WEAPON VARIABLES: Endurance- The HP of a weapons expressed as DP (Damage Points). The more DP, the tougher a weapon is. Reach- Essentially the length of a weapon. A high Range score means that there is less distance required to strike an enemy. Craftsmanship- Most craftsmen (e.g. Blacksmiths, Bowyers) will have a distinguished way of making the weapons that they posess or trade. As a result, there may be weapons that have bonuses and flaws in their making. FDSR- Full Damage Strength Requirement: The minimum Strength score that a character must posess in order to inflict the maximum Damage of that weapon on an enemy. DC- Damage Class: The 1st Damage Class is the primary type of damage inflicted upon the enemy. The secondary Damage Class inflics half of the weapons Damage upon striking an enemy. AP-Agility Penalty: Inflicted upon wearer of applicable armour. |

SPELLCASTING ISSUES: Issue explanation Casting Selection A spellcaster can cast any spell he/she has leaned at any time. Frequency The intelligence of a character determines the number of spells he/she can cast in a period of time. Forgetfulness Casting spells that have not been recently used causes their effect to be halved. |

Whoa! This would be interesting. I cannot log in to your discussion right now (maybe after two- three months). But, watching others nearly-allways can bring you something new. Anyway, I develop my own 3D FPS/TPS/demi-DND game. I still work on 3D Engine, overall story and gathering designers and feedback. Today I should get Apache, PHP, MySQL so I'll should be able to organize everything as one site so, if/when I be in need of feedback, I'll put it on the Web and give you all the link. Xehe. |

Cool. I'd like to take a look at some if your stuff, especially your "demi" DND stuff. I understand you can develop 3d engine, story and design. But do you do it as a pass-time or a job? |

Oh, don't laugh. That "demi" DND should be something Arx Fatalis-like. I said "demi" just because dex 100 shall do nothing if player cannot use it. So, no point'n'click but slash and see. (if I hit the right phrases)
No, I work on it just when I have time for it. It is not job, and there is not adequate coin-reward before something is realy done - Sponsors say. |

right. The scope of mine is to develop rules engine for a PC-RPG which is both different from D&D and much more understandable by the player. It is also focused hard on reality and the effects of more combat characteristics. |
