Post Castle of the winds 2 question
I finished CotW 1 a long time ago, and played halfway tru CotW 2, but never finished it back then. Now i made a holy quest outta replaying it and have a question about it, if anyone would recall or even played it back then (and if you didn't shame on you!, such a classic).

So, after you defeat the boss in CotW2 , and you retrieve the helmet, how'd you get back in town? Everytime i cast rune of return the helmet absorbs my spell as with an enemy spell. :/ Do i really have to batter my way back to the surface by foot then?

Strange btw...even tho it has no fancy stuff whatsoever as to graphic design, the gameplay is strangely obsessive...:/

No way..... I didn't think anyone actually played this..... I found it on a demo cd and loved this game.

It was only the shareware version though, so it ended after you get a necklace of your father's, or something. Is that the end of COTW1?

Lol, aha, a fellow CotW junk! ;) I got Pev more or less hooked on it too now, so the army is ever growing. And you didn't think anyone actually played it? It's a classic for crying out loud! :)

And yep, when you get the necklace back (amulet of kings) part 1 of CotW is over. The coolest thing about CotW is that it's in a window and is totally turn-based and thus the perfect game to play while you're at msn or whatever. ;)

P.S. oh, hi Inqui :)
P.S. 2 nope, can't see your email here. :(

Cool, have fun, and report your progress here aye? ;) Are you gonna play tru part 1 first and go on with the char, or start from scratch in 2? Just asking cos part 1 is like 3-4 hours play, so i'd do that.

Anyhoo....remember Manticores? they were very powerful and kicked your ass (well at least mine) in part 1, in part 2 you eat them for breakfast, three strokes and they're down. :) Same for the breed the boss in part 1 was really. Dunno how i missed your email then...prolly just cos i'm stupid.

P.S. Watch out for them Ice devils and castle wights! they're bad-ass. :/

:P :P to you Peltz...as long as the gameplay is brilliant then i don't much mind the rest. :)

And yeah Pev, your S-man seemed one hell of a steroid-packed butch-o over msn. While i have to save every 3 minutes cos i might get killed. :/ Ah well, at least i know a lot of fancy spells! *uses "transmogrify monster" on Pevil, then sends a magic arrow in her direction*
