Yea. If you're playing half-life like, what, 5 years after it was released, you need a life. :) Play damn battlefield 1942 or quake with the urban terror mod or something.

counterstrike is a game i play because it doesn`t require a very good computer ( :oops: ) and because i just like the gameplay. and i think my little brother took almost all recent games with him (because he owns them), i don`t even have a clue which games he has. maybe we have BF 1942 i should check. but i`m not in a very game-mood lately.

When talking to the people that come in our gaming center this is the general statements for why they play counter strike

a) My computer is slow but runs it
b) Im good ( what they are really saying is they dont want to learn a new game and suck all over again)

Lol. I like CS personally. Reasons:

Much, much faster and more skilled than BF1942 and Unreal Tournament 2003.... BF1942 is too slow - you take something of the order of 5 bullets to kill, or more. UT2k3 is fun, but too weird. You simply run around hosing - and your bullets go where you point. Also, you take a huge beating before you go down.

CS is way better in both these categories, and also for the previously mentioned reasons.

Btw, FAMAS owns.

Army Operations. Better graphics. Cool weapons. Usually if you get shot, you're screwed (though I've been hit like 5 times and lived...musta got me in the leg). Sound effects rock. Levels are very detailed and pretty well built. And it's free. And you get honor. :)

Yes, but it doesn't have the coolness of playing [and beating] mates.... and it's probably overly realistic - realism is good - but too realistic and missions take ages, and it gets boring.

mission time limits are 10 minutes, so it'll never take longer than that. Usually it's over in alot less. Why can't you play it with friends?

Meh - I've never actually played that - I might give it a go....

CS still owns. WAAAAY better than BF1942 [which is still awesome], but Black Hawk Down looks good - haven't played it yet.

They should make a cs2...

I just said that counterstrike 2 will be made for Halflife 2 ..

Ow now i see i replied on your text and i said derf for some strange reason .. that could have caused confusion probably
