Ffs, i hate the "2 months ahead of rest of the world" and "free trials" and "only US servers" things!   US haven't even got highest gaming percentage in the world, by far. Ah well.

Seen the site once, looked like a cool game, expecially the Aracoix (Birdmen). Even was considering buying it, but I read this: Restricted Races Three of the races in Shadowbane are what we call “Restricted Races.†|

The Aracoix are nice for peaceful gaming. Since the flying ability is not much of a use in pvp battles (not using word "combat" coz combat is just a small clash between 10 15 players, battle is up to 100). Flyin drains stamina faster than you can say holyshitimfiftymetersupintheairandiranoutofstaminanowimfalling tothegroundifimluckyillsurvivethefallbutdidihavetochoosethebog withallthesealligatorsthatwillbitemyassoff. Bang yer dead
Shadowbane is very group oriented, not much for soloing unless ye know how to play your character and yer attacks rip through enemies like a hot knife through butter. |

Hey Peltz, what's the word on non-fighting skills now? Is it still possible to be a mastersmith etc? And sell stuff and become mighty rich and hire bands of mercenaries to kill your opponents and put prices on ppl's heads?

No tradeskills. I guess they saw that tradeskills get in the way of PvP battles so they took em out for good. Yeah i know it sucks... But the developers usually are dumba**es so what can you do. |
