FPS: Agree but don't really play 'em myself so can't disagree
Action/Adventure: Disagree but don't have a PS3 so can't really say anything on Uncharted. However based on sales in our shop alone plus customer reviews, Assassins Creed 2 is by far the superior game (and definately loved by me
) Batman is a worthy runner up but NOT Brutal Legend, ugh, such a standard game it's unbelievable.
Platformer: Agree, amazing game though I'm crap at it
I haven't played Scribblenauts but a colleague keeps raving about it
Music game: Guess I'll agree simply for the 'new' thing, but it's nothing great. Beatles was pretty meh and Band Hero is just Guitar Hero but less rock centred.
Sports: Don't play 'em but it's pretty much the standard
RPG: Why do we have no runners up? I won't dispute DA:O but what's happened to Divinity 2? Then again it has been a pretty poor year for rpgs really
Strategy: Not played any but Plants vs Zombies does look pretty awesome
Racing: Not played Forza 3 but #2 is pretty impressive. Mind you Dirt 2 really impressed me in the demo.
